For oily foods in particular, the wrong bag can affect food safety, shelf performance and the consumer experience. The video pointed out that ordinary PE plastic bags are not suitable for holding oily foods for extended periods. The reason: low-density polyethylene components in the PE resin can dissolve and migrate when they come into contact with grease, leading to bag failure, rancid odors in the oil, and potentially harmful substances transferring into the food itself. Oily foods demand higher grease resistance, better barrier performance and stronger seals. A generic plastic bag simply cannot handle it.

A hot-filled sauce needs a heat-resistant structure; frozen fried foods need low-temperature flexibility combined with grease resistance; takeout cooked food also requires seal strength and leak prevention.
