A selection of real projects — what the brand needed, what structure we built, and what changed after the switch. Client names are abbreviated at their request.

Specialty Coffee

Flat Bottom Coffee Bags with Degassing Valve for a German Roaster

The roaster was losing aroma during the first 72 hours after roasting and their existing pouches bulged on the shelf. We replaced their three-side seal bags with a four-panel flat bottom pouch in PET/VMPET/PE and added a one-way aroma valve positioned above the fill line.

The new structure also gave them four full print panels, which they used to move brew guides and origin stories onto the pack.

Format: Flat bottom pouch + valve Structure: PET/VMPET/PE, 140 μm Volume: 5 SKUs, 250 g / 500 g / 1 kg Result: Aroma retention extended to 12+ months
Pet Treats
United States

Recyclable Stand-up Pouches with Clear Window for a US Pet Treat Brand

The brand had committed to a recyclable packaging target but their existing PET/AL/PE pouch could not be recycled. We developed an MDO-PE mono-material stand-up pouch with a clear window so consumers could still see the treats, plus a slider zipper for resealability.

Barrier testing confirmed the mono-material structure met their 9-month shelf-life requirement for the dry treat range.

Format: Stand-up pouch + window + slider zipper Structure: MDO-PE/PE, recyclable Volume: 3 SKUs, 300 g / 500 g / 900 g Result: Recyclable in existing PE streams, no shelf-life loss
Juice & Puree
Australia

1 L Retort Spout Pouches Replacing Rigid Bottles for an Australian Beverage Producer

The client wanted to cut shipping weight and shelf space for their cold-pressed juice range. We supplied 1 L spout pouches in a retort-grade PET/NY/PE structure with 32 mm screw caps, hot-fill rated and validated with a 72-hour leakage test on the spout weld.

Switching from bottles reduced packaging weight by roughly 85% per litre shipped.

Format: 1 L spout pouch, 32 mm cap Structure: PET/NY/PE, retort grade Volume: 2 SKUs, 500 ml / 1 L Result: ~85% packaging weight reduction
Snack Nuts
Netherlands

High-speed Roll Film for a Dutch Nut Packer's VFFS Line

The packer's line was running at reduced speed because of inconsistent film tension and slip. We supplied PET/VMPET/PE roll film with matched COF, printed with registration marks tuned to their eye-mark sensor, and ran a trial roll on site before full production.

Line speed returned to the machine's rated output with no seal failures across the trial run.

Format: Printed roll film, 720 mm width Structure: PET/VMPET/PE, 90 μm Volume: 1.2 t per run Result: Line back to rated speed, zero seal failures
